Done: Get a fountain pen & ink!

Just for funzies, the bf got me gifts because he's nice lol.

One of them was a fountain pen! A real one with the empty ink tube and a piston to fill in the tube.
It's Noodler's Flex Tip Pen in Clear.

Also, he got a bottle of ink for the pen.
Apparently, he recently met a guy in class that collected fountain pens and ink and what not. So from his advice, he got the Baystate Blue that uses this antique recipe for the color.
However, the ink is a bit frisky. It doesn't mix well with other ink, so once you use it in a pen, the pen is pretty much not going to be used for other ink. And once it gets on ya, it'll be ages before you can get it off.
It also is very dark so it may bleed through some papers.
But, with all that scary things about the ink, it is so beautiful. And it's waterproof and dries very quickly.

I would put up a picture of some amazing calligraphy I did. But, I didn't take pictures of it, and it really wasn't amazing or impressive. lol.

But, I think this is such a cool gift, especially for Father's day.

I am definitely getting my dad a pen. Something a bit older looking, though.
